家庭訪問

現在還有老師在作「家庭訪問」嗎?

訪問的重點是在於家長與老師之間的溝通,若是平時就已經可以用電話、手機作好的事,何必再去家長的家中談呢?以前會有家訪的原因是科技不發達,必需要親自走一趟學生家裏才行,現代科技發達,手機一通就可以跟家長暢談,家訪的必要性就不高了。若非有特殊的理由,如探訪受傷的學生、與家長培養感情或了解學生家庭經濟概況,實在沒有必要一定要去作家訪。

學校會要求老師要家訪,基本上是教育現象中落後於現實狀況的其中一項。我一直認為,教育要跟隨時代演進,各項課程規劃及例行公事(如家訪這件事)也要跟得上時代才行。

對於教師分級制的一些觀點及給您的參考資料

很快地,我們國中、小學教師要進行教師分級制了。雖然我有自信不會是最差的,但看到一些規定及報導,卻覺得這個分級制還是有包含著一些暗黑的層面,值得家長及教師們來觀注。以下整理一些要點及連結供老師及家長們來作參考:

首先《教師評鑑與教師淘汰指日可待》提到了,分級制有助於淘汰不適任教師,基本上我是同意的,但是要在某些前提之下,這個機制才會通暢,例如分級制要和教評會的機制能夠相聯合,才有辦法。全教會的檔案裏說,我國若能落實教評會的機制,其實就可以淘汰一些不適任教師,是因為常久以來教評會的功能一直沒辦法落實,現在以分級制來作,難免讓人起疑慮,個人覺得應該至少先加強教評會的機制,再落實分級制。

再者,分級制的規定目前有這一點:

第二十五條 本辦法實施前已受聘為專任教師者,其分級依左列方式辦理:

一、擔任專任教師累計未滿八年者.為初級教師

二、擔任專任教師累計滿八年未達十六年者,為中堅教師

三、擔任專任教師累計滿十六未達二十四年者,為專業教師。

四、擔任專任教師累計滿二十四年以上者,為顧問教師。

這樣也是將年資納入分級的考量參數之一,對淘汰不適任的年資深的老師,並不能起太大的效用,這點恐怕還是年資淺的人的痛(菜就是該死啦)。

另外我還想到幾點可供思考:(1)學生對於不同級數的教師教的反應。(2)校園中教師的關係將由合作轉變為競爭。更多的老師將會比較不願意分享自己的成功教學經驗(藏私),致使老師自己將自己摸索。(3)分級制的公平性為何?(4)輔導不適任教師的機制為何?我國是否已經成立專業的教師輔導制度?(5)學生的內在轉變真的可以被評斷出來,並且藉此讓教師提升自己的級數嗎?

最後我認為,要推教師分級制是可以的,但是我們需要更多的技術層面的改進與探討,並加以改進,不然只是會徒勞無功,而這是一條長遠的道路。似乎也該思考,我們的教育官員是否也該列入分級呢?長久以來我們的教育法制都是由上面官員推動的,但是不缺失敗的案例,如何讓學生或教師們來評鑑這些上級官員,是否我們也該來推動一些評鑑教育部、教育局高官的評鑑法條呢?
